At the heart of the city of Dublin for almost 1000 years, Christ Church cathedral has a rich cultural history which can be traced from the Vikings and the Anglo-Normans to the present. Its diverse architectural and sculptural heritage remains a source of fascination to visitors and pilgrims alike who enter this hallowed space. As the diocesan cathedral for the united dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough and the metropolitical cathedral of the southern province of the Church of Ireland, Christ Church is the venue for numerous high-profile services and events. At the same time the cathedral continues to fulfill its primary mission of prayer, education and hospitality.

In order to fulfil our stated mission and ministry the cathedral now wishes to recruit for the following positions:

Cathedral Managing Director
Responsible for the management of the overall non-liturgical administration of the cathedral and the enactment of the mission and ministry of the cathedral as directed by its dean, chapter and board. The managing director will be assisted in his/her function by three directors responsible for the administration of three key areas of the cathedral namely Operations, Music and Outreach.

Key areas of responsibility
• Strategic planning
• Financial Management
• Maintenance of the cathedral fabric

Director of Cathedral Operations
Responsible for all day-to-day operations at the cathedral.

Director of Cathedral Development and Outreach
Responsible for the ongoing development of cathedral profile within the diocese, the city of Dublin and on the national and international stage.
